How to apply for funding
The PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Trust allocates funds to women and men who would not be able to access our cancer rehabilitation services in New Zealand without financial assistance. The PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Trust funding allocation system ranks women and men with the greatest financial and physical need on a regional basis.
The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation funds women with breast cancer in New Zealand. In 2015, the NZBCF proudly funded $71,716 to help women on their road to recovery through the PINC Program.
The physical need is determined by the type of surgery, the type of cancer treatments, presence of any post-operative complications and/or pre-existing musculoskeletal problems and whether there has been a medical referral.
The financial need is determined by the combined household income, the number of dependent children, and whether you have had to stop working.
Each region has their own separate waiting lists, which is determined by the funding available in that region.
Please fill in the FUNDING FORM if you live in New Zealand and require funding to be able to participate in a cancer rehabilitation program.
If you are a family member or friend of a patient who would like to access our services and can’t afford it you can gift sessions by filling in this form. GIFTING SESSIONS
